She fell asleep on a shell older than the sea. A single hand-built sculpture: a mermaid with lavender hair curled against a clear swell of seawater, resting on a real murex shell. Iridescent sea lace blooms around her, dusted with pearl and iridescent pigment. A raw amethyst point is set into the lace. One clear glass tear hangs suspended below.
